Building upon the success of the GLOBE Student Research Symposium in May, teachers working through the Institute for Earth Observations at Palmyra Cove enabled two Burlington County Schools (Moorestown Friends, and Medford Memorial, and nearby Merchantville School) to send student research teams to the 30th Satellite and Education Conference held at Cal-State-LA, CA. Working with and through John Moore, the teams were selected and funded through a NASA grant to participate in the M.Y.S.P.A.C.E. Program, a meeting of international students to present and develop research. John, a long-time member of the Satellite Educators Association, also presented cutting edge work under development here at the IEOPC to a gathering of scientists, educators, and industry.  A total of 4 teachers and 13 students participated.
