Award-winning Nectar Gardens

Palmyra Cove has several garden areas around the building and in the park.

The Nectar Gardens are a volunteer project to experiment in drought tolerant and deer resistant plants for nectar feeder bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

Thanks to Ward Dasey and other volunteers these plants have flourished for many years. The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society recognized these gardens for outstanding maintenance of their public planting and for improving the quality of life through horticulture.

If you would like to help volunteer in our gardens please email Ward at wdasey@his-pa.com.
