Does your child enjoy being outdoors and making new discoveries?
Our mission is to have students feel a sense of responsibility and ownership of our wild spaces and to learn about their environment in a fun and educational way. Environmental education at Palmyra Cove is hands-on, interdisciplinary, and personalized. Each week of camp will cover different topics, so campers may participate in one or both weeks.
Date: 2nd and 3rd weeks of July. Check calendar for details.
Time: 9 AM to 1 PM
Age Group: Campers are split into 3 age groups. We are now accepting students entering grades 1st through 8th.
What to Wear: Sunscreen and bug-spray. (applied at home) Closed toed shoes. (No flip flops or sandals) Dress for the weather. (Rain or shine)
What to Bring: A healthy lunch and a water bottle.
Cost: $125.00 for current members; $165.00 for non-members (this includes a year's membership at PCNP)
What Else? Following each week on Friday there will be an Interpretive Family Evening Hike. This hike is from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and is for all participating campers and their families.
